The Greatest Gift

How do I describe the one above?
For God is love, For God is love.

I tell you this, it's clear to me
This is what I need to see.

Could all of this be true love my friends?
Love never fails, love never ends.

Whatever was and is will be,
This is what I need to see.

If you would take everything from me.
Strip me bare, nothing left to see.

Only love remains with me to be
The love for Him who died for me.

Love was and is and will always be
This sounds a lot like God to me.

God's love is always there for me
To share with others and to set me free.
