Power Of Peaceful Thinking How To Know Jesus Christ As Savior, Lord, Master,
Friend and King
It is better to give than it is to receive. It is slightly better to give than to receive. Giving and receiving are both regarded in high esteem by God. Giving and receiving both receive rewards and blessings from the Lord when God's people carry them out to perfection.
God calls us to receive one another in the spirit of love. God is evaluating us as to the ways we welcome and show hospitality to both strangers and brothers and sisters in the family of God.
We hear a lot about giving ourselves to the service of others. But we don't hear much about what God has to say about receiving others. Let's set the record straight.
The good book of Hebrews suggests that we should show hospitality to strangers because we might just be meeting an angel or a messenger from God.
The apostle Paul adds to the message of receiving when he tells us to show humility when we meet people and to consider other people better than ourselves. This is very difficult for the born-again-spirit-filled-holier-than-thou believer to do. Most of us want to think we are better than other people.
Jesus himself gets into the act when he tells us to practice the Golden Rule and to treat others the way we would like to be treated.
Jesus goes on to suggest that we should receive others just like we were receiving Jesus into our life. “Whatsoever you do to one of the least of these, you also do it unto me,” says the Master.
Receiving disciples, righteous men and prophets also produce rewards for the receiver. Give a cup of water to a disciple and you will keep your reward. Receive a righteous man with love and you will receive a special reward. Receive a prophet as a prophet and you will receive a prophet's reward. Who knows what that means?
You are about to be tested as a receiver. The author is claiming to be a man of God with a message for God's people. He is a voice crying out in the wilderness asking you to prepare the way for the Lord.
How will you receive his message? How will you receive the messenger?
How will you respond when the messenger asks, “Who DO YOU SAY that I am?”
Will you say one like the prophet Daniel? Will you say one like the apostle John? Will you say one like John The Baptist? Will you say one like a disciple of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ? Will you say one like the apostle Paul? Will you say one like Apollos? Will you say a righteous man? Will you say a prophet? Will you say one like an angel? Will you say one like an anger of light?
Will you say one like the Son of Man as mentioned in Revelation Chapter 14? Will you say one like the nature of the Beast? Will you say one like the anti-Christ? Will you say one like the Son of God?
Only God knows for sure.
We hope you will receive one of the highest rewards available from the Lord as you read this book that will produce unconditional love, eliminate negative stress, improve communications and build happiness and joy into your home and work environments.
Let the journey begin!
